Training Section One:

The course is free and open to the public; no electrical experience is necessary, according to SUNY Canton Lecturer Nathan M. Havens, who teaches in the Electrical Construction and Maintenance program.
“We will cover fundamental topics including series and parallel circuits, multimeter usage, battery care, conducting site visits, and system layout planning,” Havens said. “Much like our college courses, the training is all practical and hands-on, where participants learn by working directly with solar equipment and tools.”
Space is limited and registration is required. You can Register at the Solar Training Registration webpage. For additional information, you contact WCIP Executive Director Elizabeth A. Brown by phone at 315-386-7504 or email [email protected].
